Mother's Day DIY Craft: Floral Tea

Apr 23, 2018, 12:51 PM by Thea S
Show Mom what a sweet-tea she is with this adorable floral craft. Perfect for any Mother's Day brunch or get together!
Mother's Day is right around the corner. Still haven't gotten Mom anything? Don't worry - we've got you covered. This sweet and simple craft is a great way to show your tea loving mother how much she means to you. Read on to find out what supplies you need, and get ready to tackle this project.

Mother's Day Tea

What You'll Need

  • Bouquet of fresh flowers (we recommend getting something with a good mix of colors and styles)
  • Teabags (be sure to grab the kind with string and tag)
  • Scissors

What To Do

Step 1: Cut most of the stem off of your flowers, leaving just enough space for you to attach the teabag's string. Pro tip - leave a little extra stem to help with tying, then trim off the excess.

Step 2: Gently remove the tag from your teabags, leaving the string intact.

Step 3: Tie a flower to the end of your teabag's string, repeating until you have a sweet bouquet.

Step 4: Display in a mug or envelope. We're sure Mom will love it!
